System for receiving, handling and storing video channels

Garavot is the leading edge complete system for receiving, handling and storing video channels, from a digital and an analogue broadcast television. This centralized system captures and stores desired video channels and distributes them over an IP network. The contents are streamed 'live', 'on demand' or 'stored & broadcasted' to PCs and Set Top Boxes.

ARCHITECTURE
Garavot platform’s modules are managed through the Web Portal by which it is possibile to access all system’s functionalities. Via a user friendly administration’s interface it’s possible to define and modify the profiles associated with the system accounts.

FUNCTIONALITY
This system offers all IPTV services:

• Decoding and ‘live’ visualization of video channels
• Video on demand
• Recording of video channels

The system offers also additional services such as:

• Broadcasting of stored contents
• Administration interface for central management of the complete system.

The administrator, through a simple web interface, can handle:

• The list of channels
• Users groups (policies)
• The Set Top Boxes (STB)
