When a public administration assesses a cloud platform, it has to weigh things that go well beyond features: qualification, data classification and regulatory requirements can decide outright whether the service can be adopted at all.
Garavot is ACN QC1 qualified for ordinary data and services and is listed in the Italian catalogue of cloud services for the public sector. ACN is Italy's National Cybersecurity Agency, and the catalogue is the register public bodies procure cloud services from.
But compliance is only the starting point. The goal is still to make content easier to run — from publication to archiving, and on to search and long-term governance.
A project in production
Committee sessions streamed live, staff training, press conferences: events broadcast from several regional sites, recorded and archived automatically, and gathered into a media library they can be pulled back out of whenever they are needed.
One tool for very different audiences — the authority's own staff, the public, groups with restricted access — without switching platform depending on who is watching.
Other use cases
Live and recorded lectures, a course archive, restricted areas per degree programme, tracking of who watched what. It integrates with the LMS and videoconferencing systems you already run: Garavot does not replace them, it archives and distributes what they produce.
